Valentine Touches

Hello, Glitterinas!

I hope your 2018 is off to a wonderful start!

I'm so glad you stopped by to see what's
going on here at Pink Glitter!

January will be gone very soon....so let's
get ready for February.....and
Valentine's Day!

Since I was a little girl I have enjoyed
making and giving valentines.

Our grand~darlings are still young enough to
enjoy making cards and treats for their buddies.
We'll be working on these soon!

Since Valentine's Day is so close
I thought I'd sprinkle a few decorations around our house.

Let me show you some of my valentine treasures.....

I love, love vintage valentine cards!

Over the years, I've made some things using some of
these cute, little goodies.

Vintage cowboy cards made a fun
banner for the fireplace.

Here's an up close look at a few .......

I personalized these vintage goodies....

Here's a bit of sparkle....

Our dining room table has it's own small collection of
valentine hearts.....

A few more red and pink touches....

I'll end up this sharing time with my
favorite valentine project.

Are you giving out cards or treats for
Valentine's Day this year, Glitterinas?

Leave me a note and let me know.

I enjoy reading your comments....
thanks so much for taking a moment to leave one.

If your weather is cold,
I hope you are staying warm.

If your weather is warm,
I hope you can enjoy it!

Our weather can't decide which
it wants to be......
getting dressed correctly each day
is an interesting prediction!

Until next time, Glitterinas,
Tammy

Little Wooden Signs

Hello Glitterinas!

Quick question:
Do you ever see something at the
home improvement store,
or
during a walk,
or
in the scrap wood pile

and think....

OOOh, that would make a
great _______!?
(Insert a noun.)

I do!

My most recent brain pop
happened when I was looking at
the leftover pieces
from one of husband's wood projects.

OOOh, those would make great
little signs!

I hot glued two small pieces of wood together.

One piece was the base and one was standing.

I thought I might paint the center section of each sign
with chalkboard paint.

Then I decided to put a clip on each one.

Hmmmm, regular size clothes pin on top?!

Nope, too big.....

....small clothes pin on front!

I covered the front of each clip with paper.

I use these for display....

....or for identifying the most popular item
on the dessert table!

Interesting and useful little signs....

who knows how I'll use them tomorrow?!

What do you think I could use them
for, Glitterinas?

The next time you see something
interesting, new or leftover,
ask yourself what
could it be...what could you make it into?

Leave me a comment letting me know what
you think....I enjoy reading your notes!

Thanks for stopping by today,
Glitterinas!

Until next time,
Tammy
