Muffins On Cute, New Dishes

Good Morning, Glitterinas!

Thank you so much for taking a moment to open and read this post.
I really appreciate your time! I hope you find something that
intrigues you.

I am serving a quick breakfast this morning.

I am serving it on some new dishes that I am really
enjoying.....

Pioneer Woman's new line of dishes and cookware.

Have you seen it?

Let me share some of what I have chosen to
bring to my house.

Red trim salad plate and mug.....and turquoise
trim salad plate and mug.
I have enjoyed using these plates for breakfast.

So pretty!

Here's a close up of the red.....

Isn't it pretty?

These little napkins were my Mom's.....she received them from a
favorite relative at a wedding shower before she and Dad got married!

Now, let's take a peek at the turquoise trim pieces.....

Love, love, love....

Another cute napkin.....these pretties are so soft from being used, laundered,
and ironed for over 60 years.

Pioneer Woman's pitcher and butter dish are also
living with a set of red dinner plates and these stacks of plates and
mugs at Five Gables.

Now that I've made you look at my new dish
treasures, I think it's time
to serve breakfast!

Yummy blueberry cheesecake muffins....

.....a little butter on mine, please.

The shrimp plant out in the flower bed is bloomin'
itself silly.....so, why not enjoy some of it's
loveliness on the kitchen table?

I always think of my Mimi when I see a shrimp plant blooming.....
she had a large one on the side of her house that I was
so intrigued with when I was young.

There are a couple of muffins left, Glitterinas......come on by and we'll
have some coffee and a good visit!

I'll let you pick your own favorite plate, Glitterinas!

I hope your day is filled with sunshine
and grace!

I don't want you to miss any of the fun here at Pink Glitter,

Halloween at Gigi's

Boo, Glitterinas!

Things don't get very scary here at Five Gables Farm for
Halloween.

I have always enjoyed the fun parts of Halloween,
 not the scary ones.....you know,

the cute little witches,

 the smiling ghosts,

glittery black cats!

Oh, I almost forgot.....the yummy candy, too!

Let's look at some of the
fun Halloween decorations around the house.

I really enjoy seasonal decorating and
fiddling around by moving this here
and that there.....

I also enjoy making decorations to use in our house.

The youngest grand~darling still thinks my pet ghost
is real.....and that we have to be very quiet or we'll frighten
it away!

Here is a little, framed Halloween collage
 and
a picture of my two
favorite trick or treaters from over twenty years ago!

Spooky!

This is about as scary as it gets at Gigi's.....

This is my new favorite piece for this year.

It's really more Autumn than Halloween, so it'll stay out until
Christmas is ready to fill the house!

I wish I could get a better shot of it.....

When witches go riding

And black cats are seen

The moon laughs and whispers

Tis near Halloween!

I made these wooden spoon treats for my sweet,
Bunco friends!  They looked cute waiting on the
dining room table to go to their new homes!

Do you have lots of ghosts and goblins who visit you
at Halloween?

Have you filled your candy bucket for them yet?

Thank you for taking time to visit me here at
Pink Glitter today.

Leave me a note so I'll know you stopped by.....

Booooo to you, Glitterinas,
Tammy

My Grand~Darlings Have Gone Batty!

Welcome to Pink Glitter!

Thank you for taking time to open up this post and share
a moment with me!

Let's spend some time in the craft room today, Glitterinas!

I have a simple, quick and fun craft to share.

I'm making bats....cute, little, black, paper bats!

With a twist.....

Are you interested?

Let's get busy.....

The materials needed for this project are:

a bat template
(You can find many templates to choose from online.
I have had this one for years....it could be from Martha Stewart.)

 black construction paper
(or a pink glitter bat might be fun, too)

and a picture to cut up.....here's the twist.....

My grand~darlings are going to be the bats!
Well, their faces are, anyway.....

Also needed:
scissors
glue
ribbon
glitter

Trace the template on folded paper and cut it out.

I made three bats.

Next, add the glitter, if you like.

Goodness, the paper looks brown, doesn't it?

Weird....

Then, I trimmed the faces that I'll be adding to the bats!

Glue the faces on the bat shapes....why did these
make me laugh?

The girls got bows and little mister got a tie!

What do you think, Glitterinas?

Who would you like to turn into a bat?

Ummm, wait, did that come out right?

Now I just have to find the right place for these
little Halloween bats to hang out!

Happy crafting, Glitterinas!

Give this little, easy project a try....and let me know how your
bats turn out!

EEEEK!!

There are bats in my kitchen.......and the grands thought they were funny!

Hugs and glitter,
Tammy
