Easter's on it's way!
I look forward to Springtime and
Easter as each new year begins flying along.
Celebrating this special time of year is very close to my heart.
I'm so blessed that Jesus loved me enough to
die and take away the sins of a
sinner like me.
He not only died, but he LIVES!
~~~
He not only died, but he LIVES!
When our daughters were younger they
enjoyed helping put out all the
Easter decorations.
These days I'm usually the only
hippety hoppety decorator!
Let me share some of our
Easter pretties with you......
These things live on the top shelf of the large
dining room cabinet when they aren't
helping to decorate for
Easter.
I enjoy getting them out and deciding
where they'll be hanging out
during this lovely, spring season.
This handsome guy is the oldest
collectable in my stash.
He belonged to my husband's grandmother.
She didn't have lots of seasonal items but
she told me she bought this bunny
for her dining room when she
was a newlywed.
How lucky am I to have it now to
enjoy each Easter?
He's a treasure!
Aren't these sweet?
A talented friend, Lula, made them for me!
These baskets look good wherever they sit.....
filled with crinkles and decorative eggs,
holding fuzzy yellow chicks,
or holding yummy wrapped candies!
Don't be too jealous
over these hand-painted eggs......
.....this one just might be my favorite!
Texas bluebonnets.....LOVE!
They were a gift from my SIL.
Friends will not be
surprised that I have tied some
large, pouffy bows on items around the house.
Ribbons, ribbons, ribbons......pink, green,
striped, gauzy, tulle, plaid, polka dot.....
.....I love them all mixed together.
What do you think, Glitterinas?
Our dining room table is a favorite
decorating place.....I started with this egg covered
table cloth.
Such pretty spring colors.....
....next, I layered on a pink rose runner.
In the center, I used a wooden lantern that I thought
I'd fill with some pretties.
On each side of this lantern I added
a few more things.....
.....how many times have these petite water globes
been given a good shake to make the
glitter dance?
Too many to possibly count!
Here's the whole table.....
Our Easter tree is all ready to be decorated......
......our grand~darlings want to help.
I'll share more when we've completed
the fun of decorating it!
I am so glad you stopped by
Pink Glitter today.
Thanks, Glitterinas!
Where to read the Easter story~
Matthew, Chapters 27 & 28
Mark, Chapters 15 & 16
Luke, Chapters 23 & 24
John, Chapters 19 & 20
It's good to read from all four of these because
each account adds to the Easter story.
Until next time,
Tammy
