Another Bunny or Two......

......around the house!

I enjoy the colors of Spring and all
of my collected Easter treasures.

I want to take you on a walk through our house
and share some of my pretties!

Some old friends.....the Easter bunny brought
me these metal eggs when I was a little girl.

There's a basket of fun to enjoy with the
grands.....I wonder how long it will take until
I'm tired of those jokes?!

Some blown eggs that were painted by a
client of my sister-in-love's....
aren't they lovely?

My favorite banner....

He is Risen!

These new, fabric baskets were a gift from my
sweet, talented friend, Lula.

She made them and sent them to me....
I love them!

Don't you?

They are filled with eggs Mom, Sissy, and I
made long, long ago!

Aren't they sweet?

These are going to be treasures I enjoy every Spring!

I am so glad you opened this post at
Pink Glitter!

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share
these pictures from around our home.

Leave me a note so I know you stopped by, Glitterinas.

Hugs and bunnies,
Tammy

Our Easter Tree

Thank you for stopping by
Pink Glitter today.

I want to share our Easter tree
with you, Glitterinas.

Before I found this cute, little, white tree
I would hunt for the perfect tree branch to use.

Some years it was a challenge to find just the
right branch....
Each branch on the tree I use now
has a pink rose bud on the tip.

So lovely!

I started with the bow on the top....
several fun ribbons came together
to make this topper.

While I was working on our Easter tree,
Sarge, our new puppy, was working on
keeping up with his tennis ball!

This is a three foot tree so
it does not have lots of branches to fill.

I generally put one ornament on
each branch.

Let's look at some....

The sunshine was beautiful when I was
taking these snaps, but it kept me
from getting the best pictures.

The pictures I took in the evening
are better.

These sparkly sequin eggs are new this year.
I love, love the colors!

This white, picket fence box is the container
for our little tree!

My favorite ornament didn't even make it
to the tree this year.

It is a very heavy one so I decided to hang it on
a peg on the dining room plate rack.

I feel like it is much safer hanging here!

That's our tree.....small and sweet!

I hope your days are filled with sunshine
and your heart is filled with joy.....

as the days fly by into Spring!

Hugs and glitter,
Tammy

Our Dining Room Table.......For Easter!

Hello, hello Glitterinas!

Thank you so much for opening this
Pink Glitter post.

Today I want to share our dining room table
that's ready to celebrate Easter.

I love Autumn and all her lovely colors.....
I love Christmas and celebrating Jesus' birth....

but Easter is a big deal in my heart!

Jesus loved me enough to actually die
for me.....me, a sinner who falls short of
my potential, every day.......wow!

Then He triumphed over death and rose
to live again and forever!

That needs to be celebrated.....every day!

But I only bring out all my Easter decorations
each spring.

Baby chicks, bunnies, eggs all symbolize new life....
all the trees, shrubs, and flowers are ready for
a new season, too!

The pastels of spring are the main colors I chose to decorate
with on the dining table.....there are a few bright pops, too!

Let's look at the centerpiece that I'm calling
my Easter explosion.

I started with a large, crackle glass hurricane
pedestal vase.

I placed a mercury glass vase in it.....

and put silver, gauzy material
around that to hide the stems.

Then, in went the long stems covered with small, pastel
colored balls.....or since this is Easter,
let's call them eggs!

I added some metallic eggs on wire stems
to fill in around the top of
the crackle glass vase.

My Mom gave me these eggs a hundred years
ago and they've been used in a hundred
different Easter arrangements.

They are real work horses!

I added some curly-cues my
sister-in-love gathered up for me.

Her hubs was trimming tin and she
wondered if I wanted the curly pieces.....
ummm, yes please!

How cute are these little buggers?!

These were handled with much care....
I could just see a lovely, sliced finger!

A whole bag of these cuties were delivered to me
by way of another kind
brother-in-love, I'm blessed to have.

Three of these curly-cues went into
this arrangement.....

they add a wonderful element of fun!

When I was happy and satisfied with what was
in the vase, I wanted to add a bow to the base.

I love pretty ribbon!
I love tying bows on everything!

My sweet husband jokes that when I'm in decorating
mode he doesn't stand still around me
or I'll tie a bow on him!

The ribbons I chose were-
a pale green, loose weave one,
a hot pink, tone on tone stripe one,
and
a pink and green plaid, picot one.

These should make a nice bow for my
Easter explosion arrangement!

There we go....a nice finishing touch!

What do you think, Glitterinas?

Miss Bunny got a lovely bow, too!

Isn't that a sweet face?

She's got a beautiful, porcelain egg in
her basket that my Mom painted for me

Mom also painted these smaller eggs.
They live in a glass fronted cabinet the rest of the
year, and come out to really be enjoyed
each Easter!

This year, they are on the dining table.

I finished off the table with a sparkly, blue egg
garland just running around the
other pieces on the table.

So, what do you think of my Easter explosion
arrangement, Glitterinas?

Leave me a note and let me know what you think!

I'm so glad you stopped by and let me share
this arrangement with you.

I'll share our little Easter tree and other
decorations sprinkled around the house next time.

Until next time, Glitterinas....

He is Risen.....Amen!

A New Good Looking Office

I want to share our youngest daughter's
new office.

She moved from one college to another
at Texas A&M University
as an Academic Advisor II.

She liked the new, very tech-y building she
moved into....

she likes the parking situation....

she loves the people she gets to work with.....

she thought her office was just
blah, though.

Gigi to the rescue.....just point me in the
direction of a decorating project
and I am one happy ol' girl!

We shopped for some interesting things
to use in the new office.

We looked at many color combinations....
and finally decided on yellow and gray.

I would have bet that turquoise would be in the
mix somehow.....glad I didn't actually put money on
the new color scheme!

We schlepped all the boxes, bags and
totes stuffed with the treasures
into the lobby of her new building.

Her diplomas were in the mix, too!
Those framed pieces of paper are something Gigi and Pops are both
very proud of.

Then everything went up the elevator....

and into the office that was about to fall prey to Gigi's
arranging, and re-arranging and shuffling around.

This is a nice office space.....

good furniture,
nice big window,
desk and credenza with plenty of work room....

.....but it does need a bit of personality!

And then.....
as if by magic.....

I was asked if I minded working alone for
a while because my two helpers had some things
they each needed to go take care of.

Oh my goodness.....I couldn't shoo them out
fast enough!

I had so much fun unpacking all the pretties we'd
bought for the office...

Previously, at home.....

Daughter said she wanted a set of clip boards to
arrange on the wall.....

 to hold paper work that
she used every day.

We bought gray and yellow spray paint.

We taped off stripes and sprayed each clip board with it's
own design.

We decided to use three regular sized and
three small clip boards.

Here are our finished products....they look nice!
More importantly, the occupant of the new office liked them!

Back at the office.....

I snipped ribbon....arranged preserved boxwood orbs....
moved this here.....and that there.....
clipped price tags and stood back and stared!

As the office came together, I felt very happy.

Our girl would be working, in the real
world, doing an important job here.

And I helped make it a happy place for her!

Yay!!

The banner layed out on the table
is yellow and gray wooden pennants that I hung
on this wall.....

there is another one hanging in her nice, big window.

This is a framed wipe off board for her
office door.....students can leave her a message if they want.

The Aggie bib in her basket stack is a bib she received
when she was born.

We prayed that our baby would grow up to be a
fine, Christian, intelligent, thoughtful
contribution to the world.

The Lord came through in this young lady's life.
She's amazing......
and she's not our only daughter!

Our oldest daughter is an amazing
child of God, wife and Mom!

We are proud parents!

I finished arranging and was happy with this
space when daughter and her dad got back.

Everybody was happy with the office's new look!

This is her view out the window.....pretty, huh?

I thought I had a snap or two of daughter in her
newly decorated space.....
but,
alas,
nope.

Oh well, believe me, please, when I tell you
she likes working here.

I also added a plug in wax scent
diffuser.....vanilla and cupcake.

Oooooh, it makes her office smell
so good!

She has been enjoying her pretties
in her newly decorated
and pleasantly scented office
for a while now.....

....all the reviews I hear about
things are good!

Her job makes her life better,
and makes her happy.

Helping make her job better
makes me happy!

Thank you so much,
Glitterinas,
for stopping by and letting me share
with you today.

 2017 is flying by,
I hope yours
is off to a wonderful start!

Big hug,
Tammy
